What it is like to carry
At 34 cm across, this is the bag for a full day rather than an outing. It takes a folder, a water bottle, a pouch and the rest of it, and the three interior pockets mean the small things do not end up at the bottom with everything else.
Nubuck feels different from smooth leather: matte, slightly textured, warmer in the hand. It marks more readily than a polished finish, and those marks brush out or settle into the surface over time.
Who it is for
For someone whose bag has to hold a working day — and who has given up on large leather totes because they turn into one unsearchable space. Someone carrying between home, office and whatever comes after, who wants the interior to be as considered as the outside.
Care
Brush gently with a soft brush to lift the nap. Keep nubuck away from water where you can; if it does get wet, let it dry naturally, away from direct heat, then brush again. A nubuck-specific protector spray helps with marks. Do not machine wash, and avoid solvents and oils, which flatten the surface.

How does it compare with the other bags?

Will a laptop fit?
There is no padded laptop sleeve in this bag, and we would rather say so. It measures 34 × 14 × 20 cm — measure your device against that before ordering.
Does nubuck mark easily?
More easily than smooth leather, yes. That is the nature of the surface. Most marks lift with a soft brush, and the rest settle into the texture with wear.
Will the colour match the photographs?
Close, but not exactly. Screens vary and nubuck reads differently depending on light and the direction of the nap, so expect a slight difference from the images.
